Scientific Review Board

For the Centre to gain acceptance as a reliable and responsible source of information on boreal issues it is necessary to provide readers with assurance that the information being presented is in fact accurate and fairly represented. We aim to accomplish this by thoroughly referencing all information cited in our reports. In addition, each report is reviewed by two members of our Scientific Review Board. The reviewers are instructed to judge the accuracy of the information and to uncover errors of omission. After the initial examination the papers are revised and then subjected to a second review. The final assessment of the reviewers, including any outstanding issues, is appended to the final report for readers to examine.
